A: QuickEditor 3.5 is Shareware. That means that you can try a limited version before deciding wether you want to buy it or not. If you like it and want to take advantage of all its advandced features, simply send a 20 US $ bill (banknote) to the address specified in QuickEditor User's Guide.
Q: Is it OK to send a check and not CASH as specified in the Manual ?
A: No sorry, checks aren't accepted. People used to send me checks from their home country that simply were uncashable in Switzerland. Or if they were, banks would eat up to 50 % of the proceed in fees. So checks aren't accepted anymore. What you should do is put a 20 US $ bill (or banknote for the British) in an enveloppe along with your name and address, and in return I'll send you the Registration Code.
If you're worried your money might get lost, send it by registered mail.
If you send a check, money order or cash in a currency other than US dollars, your order simply risks to be ignored and never answered to. (Checks won't be returned.)
Q: Once I have registered my copy, may I share my code with friends that like the program too ?
A: No you can't. Registration Codes are personnal and for the restricted use of the Registered User. Spreading Registered Copies or Registration Codes is an act of piracy and is therefore strictly forbidden. Supporting Shareware by paying the Shareware Fees requested by the developers is the only way to keep the Shareware system alive, thus providing a cheap alternative to commercial applications. (Do you know how much Adobe Premiere⢠costs ?).
Q: Do you have discount prices for site licenses (like Universities willing to run QuickEditor on several machines) ?
A: Yes, contact me for more information.
